V1 Campers needed booking commerce to behave correctly under real hire rules. Fixed deposit total display bugs, enforced a 6-week restriction on £100 deposits, built WP-Cron balance reminders with branded WooCommerce emails, and a no-code order meta box for Stripe links.
The Challenge
Plugin defaults showed the wrong Pay Full Amount price, near-term hires could still pick a low deposit, and balance reminders needed automation without losing human review.
The Solution
Custom JS with MutationObserver for deposit UI sync; 6-week deposit lock; WP-Cron daily checks 42 days before hire; custom Woo email class; order meta box for Stripe links.
